Career Highlights:

Having qualified for his first Olympic Games, Davis' resurgence figures to be one of the feel-good stories of the Sochi Games. At the age of 18, Davis seemed well on his way to stardom when he was voted 2006 rookie of the year by Snowboarder Magazine, as well as in the Transworld Snowboarding Riders Poll Awards. Two years later, he was named one of Snowboarder Magazine’s Top 10 riders of the year after placing first on the Winter Dew Tour. Davis followed up that effort with impressive runs to the podium in the Winter Dew Tour, Burton European Open and U.S. Grand Prix leading up to the 2010 Winter Games. He appeared well on his way to an Olympic berth - even scoring better than American superstar Shaun White in a pre-Olympic event - before being involved in a devastating crash while riding his all-terrain vehicle, suffering a shattered pelvis and serious back injury that ended his season. Now back and determined to make the most of another opportunity, Davis could be White's toughest competition in Sochi.
