Tomasevicz served as a pusher on the four-man "Night Train" sled that won gold at the Vancouver Games, helping that group become the first American team to win gold in men's bobsled since 1948. Since those 2010 Games, Tomasevicz - piloted by Steven Holcomb - has won bronze, gold and bronze at the last three world championship events in the four-man race. Although settling for bronze at the 2013 worlds, the team notched a record-breaking final run with a time of 1:04.65 on a start time of 4.98 seconds. Tomasevicz was also Holcomb's brakeman in the two-man at Vancouver, where they finished sixth before winning gold at the World Cup in 2013. He began bobsledding in 2004 and made his Olympic debut just two years later, placing sixth in the four-man event at Turin. As part of the "Night Train" team, Tomasevicz won the four-man at the 2009 worlds and also took bronze in the two-man. He played running back and linebacker for the University of Nebraska from 2001-03 and was academic Big Ten in 2002.
