Creveling has earned all of his major international short track medals in relays, and he'll look to add to that tally and complement them with some individual ones when he makes his Olympic debut in Sochi. The 27-year-old took home three of his four career medals during the 2013 World Cup season, when was a member of gold-winning teams in Shanghai on Sept. 29 and Kolomna, Russia, on Nov. 17. The United States also took silver in Seoul on Oct. 5. Creveling won his other medal - a bronze - during the 2012-13 season in Montreal. In addition to competing in the 5,000-meter relay, he'll also participate in the 1,000 and 1,500. He has never finished higher than 11th in those events in any major international competition. Like many of his teammates, Creveling got his start in inline skating and joined the Wheels on Ice Program, which helps convert athletes to speedskating, in 2006. He won a junior world title in inline skating in 2002 as a member of a relay.
